Reunion Day 2

A lazy morning this morning. Jill, Gretchen, Ann and Jon headed to Chapel Hill around 9:30. Grandma, Colin and Ryan got busy in the kitchen making banana pudding...
The boys are quite expert at making this now!
Note the life-size astronaut behind Colin.
Definitely need a cool down with the sprinkler!
so nice to be wet!
Then back to the kitchen to help make egg salad.
These guys are great in the kitchen!

We had lunch and then read some books until Jill and the gang returned. They had made a Trader Joe's run, visited campus and Franklin Street, gone to one of their old haunts for lunch (it had moved) and then headed back.
Dave arrived around 2--ready for a nap!
He had left 2 Merry Maids with instructions
to clean every corner! They worked for 10 hours!
Others braved the 98 degrees for
some bubble time.
After a short time outside the wait began...
They must be getting close...
Ryan found a comfortable spot with
the dogs and his new cheetah.
They're here! The rest of the gang arrived about 3:30. Ryan met his new cousin Lily first thing. The last time we were all together was in Va. Beach before the Baird's went to Hawaii. Ryan was a baby, Ami was pregnant with Caleb and Colin and Noah were toddlers.
A lot of catching up to do...
new faces to meet...
new memories to make...
stories to tell..
We did a little catching up and then got things together for our taco dinner. Daniel and Ami had been on the road since early morning, with several stops to feed Lily and let the boys run around.
The food was welcome, but
new faces to get comfortable with...
didn't take long though for
things to fall into place.

Folks moved their stuff into their rooms, had showers and we all headed into bed fairly early...big day tomorrow!
