Nice to be Home!

We had a pretty good night's sleep last night. Woke up early, of course, but felt pretty refreshed and Riley made sure I was awake :-). Discovered that our big Christmas Cactus had fallen off the plant stand while we were gone. Strange... Most of it we got back in the pot fine, but a number of branches on one side had broken. Ryan helped us put them in water to see if we can root them for another plant.
Then to the peanut butter cookies. Jill had found a new and easy recipe with just 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar and an egg.

They smelled yummy and were declared a hit! Excellent cooks! It was decided the sugar could be cut and crunchy peanut butter would be good too. Then in the afternoon Jill and the boys headed off to visit friends and we unpacked. Hit the hay fairly early, but did pretty well pushing it.
