We have no idea if we will have internet access that will allow us to blog in China.  Hopefully we will, but just in case we don't here is our itinerary for the time we are there.

Sat - 4/13 - Leave Japan and arrive Beijing.  Go to Hotel and then wander the area.
Sun - 4/14 - Beijing Summer Palace
Mon - 4/15 - Beijing Imperial Legacy:  The Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City
Tues - 4/16 - Beijing - Defining China:  The Wild Great Wall/Beijing Opera Sampling
Wed - 4/17 - Daily Life in Beijing:  Hutongs and Tiananmen Square: flight to Xi'an/Classical Chinese Music
Thurs - 4/18 - China's Cultural History-Impact of Daoism, Buddhism & Confucianism on Development of Chinese Character - Shaanxi Museum of History
Fri - 4/19 - The Terra Cotta Warriors/Family Dinner with Xi'an International Studies University faculty
Sat - 4/20 - Flight to Guizhou Province - Travel Day
Sun - 4/21 - Daily Life and Traditions in Rural China - Miao and Dong ethnic minority peoples.
Mon  -4/22 - Ethnic Minority Villages in Rural China - Xijiang Miao village.  Lunch in locals home - to Leishan
Tues - 4/23 - Landscape of Mountains and Terraces - Travel through countryside to Rongjiang.
Wed - 4/24 - Rural Villages of the Dong People - Zhaoxing
Thurs - 4/25 - The Preservation of Traditional Life - Tang'an Dong Village - visit "ecological museum" founded in 1995 by China and Norway to preserve 12 ethnic minority villages. a capella Chorus.
Fri - 4/26 - Free morning - Bus to Guiyang, capital of Guizhou Province.
Sat - 4/27 - Earth Opera/ 'dim sum' lunch - Children's Palace recreation center.
Sun - 4/28 - Chongqing/Giant Pandas/Yangtze River
Mon - 4/29 - Sailing on the Yangtze - visit a new village for relocated families
Tues - 4/30 - Sailing through Yangtze Gorges/Sampan cruise on Mini-Gorges
Wed - 5/1 - Three Gorges Dam/Disembark and fly to Shanghai
Thurs - 5/2 - Shanghai:  Ancient Arts in Modern China
Fri - 5/3 - Shanghai's Changing Citiscape - Ming Dynasty's Yu Garden - the Bund
Sat - 5/4 - Depart for US
