Soccer and the Pumpkin Patch

It was a busy Saturday with the Baird's! We started the day out with some great pumpkin spice waffles so the boys would have plenty of energy for their morning! Ryan's had his first Soccer "clinic" where he practiced his drills with Mom and other kids and parents. First Saturday for that and a little chaotic, but fun none the less. Jill got a good workout too :-). This was the gorilla stance.

And as soon as that was over it was off to the other field where Colin's game was just about to begin with Dave refereeing. Colin's team won. They were killing the other team so the coach said that they couldn't score until all three kids had touched the ball. Colin wasn't thrilled about that, but it did accomplish the goal of not so many goals and some great passing.

Colin scoring goal!!

Pass that ball, Colin!

Home for lunch and a change of clothes and Dave headed to the computer to study and take his Finance Mid-term Exam while the rest of us headed for the Pumpkin Patch.

You will note that pumpkins grow in cornfields in Hawaii (or not).

Ah, the decision is made.

That one seems to be a little big, Ryan.

Trying on the ATV for size.

Ah, the maze. Lots of dead ends but we finally found our way out!

Colin checking out a new shave ice shop that came highly recommended.

Way to tall for Ryan so decided this would be safer.

A little bit of Lacrosse to burn off some of that shave ice sugar and a little Halloween decorating for the house before a quick bath in preparation for Movie Night!

We watched Milo and Otis once again and then all headed to bed after a busy and funfilled day.
