Family Time!

Nice to be back in Hawaii. Certainly warmer than the 68 we had gotten used to in the Pacific Northwest! And the sky is blue and the sun is shining! It was a normal weekday this morning so Colin went to school, Jill went to boot camp to workout and we got Ryan all to ourselves for a couple of hours. He and John went out on his new Afterburner that attached to an adult bike. He can pedal and even control the pedaling on it. Jill had gotten it from a friend and everyone loves it!

When Jill got home, she and Ryan had a little Mommy School and then everyone got cleaned up to go pick up Colin. Where is the red A?

We then headed down for lunch at Nico's on the water by the shipyard. Our table was outside and we could watch the containers being loaded onto the container ships. Also talked to some fishermen down there and saw their hooks and line that they put out to catch the big fish. Yummy lunch! Then to the mall downtown for a birthday gift for a friend of the boys and home. Colin still had a little homework to do so he finished up with a penny problem. He decided to measure how many pennies long Grandpa's foot was.

Dave came home soon after that and it was game time. Qwirkle. I'd never played it before...lots of fun. Ended up running out of time to finish it tonight. Had a great dinner of Lamb Tangine that Mom made- yum and by then it was time for the boys to head to bed. A very fun first day in Hawaii!
