Cheetah comes to life and snorkeling at KO'lina

Up bright and early this morning so Jill and John could take Dave to work and then drop the car off at the dealership by 7:15 to see what the oil leak was about. Then home to feed two boys and get them off to school. Jill went to Boot Camp and John and I worked at home. The sewing machine was buzzing with Cheetah fabric!

John even got involved in the process and stuffed the tail of our feline. By the time Ryan got home from school the hood was essentially done so he got to try it on...seemed quite enthralled with the whole thing!

Like my ears?

Colin and Jill spent time after lunch working on the last of his homework for the week. And report cards came home yesterday....and I won't brag, but it couldn't have been any better :-)

Last page!

Dave got off early and everyone but Grandma headed for KO'lina and Lagoon #4 to see what the snorkeling would be like. The surf was up this week so rougher water and pretty churned up. They tried anyway and did see some stuff.

Here we have a Colin Fish. I'll take him home!!

And the Ryan Fish....make that two to take home!

And if the snorkeling isn't great you can always entertain yourself splashing in the water!

Wait, make that four fish to take home! Meanwhile Grandma stayed home to finish up all the side seams and sleeves on the Cheetah and they weren't gone 20 minutes when I broke the needle in the sewing machine with no replacement and no car. So, finished pinning the rest that I needed to stitch, did some packing for our trip to Kauai tomorrow and cleaned up the sewing mess and did actually get it all together fairly early in the evening. Jill still needs to do the elastic in the sleeves and legs and some velcro here and there but it should be all ready for the party at school on next Friday :-) Fun project and Ryan is one cute Cheetah! Everyone fell into bed pretty early!
