Then before long a ride down the hill to the bus that will take us to Narita Airport in Tokyo...the beginning of a very long trip home. Amazingly enough by the clock we arrive just four hours after we leave on the 17th....don't we wish! Thank you Baird's all for a WONDERFUL visit! Looking forward to seeing you back in the states this summer!!

Final Japanese lunch.
Equipment is here...then 9 hour flight to
California coast and
LAX. We were late getting in and they had special expedited tickets for us to go through Immigration...very impressive - it took about 5 minutes...then downstairs to luggage where we waited for 35 minutes to get our bags....we then rechecked bags and had to go through security again - very slow line even though we said we had a tight connection...then we finally tore through the airport to get to our flight on time and it was leaving late....ah the joys of flying!
The scenery was great though!
Late into Dallas so again we rushed to the gate to find the flight had been delayed again. Time to at least grab dinner to eat on the way to RDU. Arrived there safely, got the luggage and went to the car rental and headed home. 26 hours from bus stop to bed. Jet lag here we come. But, it was worth it!! A Grand time indeed!
