Army-Navy Game, Fudge, Cookies and Fun!

The Traditional Army-Navy game was televised live in the Officers Club this morning.  The boys and Dave headed over for the 4 am beginning while I slept. Jill and John went over at 6:30 am  (14 hour time change here)
They were serving breakfast and lunch...
 and thrilling football!
 Touchdown!
 Army 7 - Navy 34!!
Then home to begin some cooking!  Ryan is
great with a meat tenderizer - crushing
candy canes for cookies.
 Meanwhile Colin broke up
the chocolate for fudge!
that everybody got a turn at stirring..
Colin's turn while Jill preps the
marshmallow fluff...
Yummy - even better when cold
and in your hand ready to eat!
 Licking the pan!
Hanging the candy canes on the tree
A short snooze for Grandma!
Burning off a little energy with Mom...
Wii tennis with Grandpa...
Then part II in the kitchen!
Ryan and one of the neighbor boys had a blast with all the leaves.

Ryan helping to scrape down the dough for Aunt Judy's
gingersnaps!
Lots of rolling for these...
then into the
sugar...
Please get those in the oven...taste time!
Busy kitchen..candy cane cookies, banana bread,
cinnamon rolls, shortbread, fudge and gingersnaps.
Hope some is still around when Santa comes.
Grandpa is leaving soon...that will help!
Jill and Dave had the last of their parties today in Yokosuka at the Admiral's Party.  It's a bus trip there and four different rotations.  They are in group 2 so left early.  Meanwhile, we have the guys all to ourselves again and gave them the Nativity we had brought for them.
It was a pretty early night as they had been up and going straight since about 3:45 am.  Nice time and very productive day!
