Ryan and Colin got a little PhotoShop training.
Then some NCAA basketball....
and some tickle time at half-time!
The rest of the family got up about 9 and Dave made pancakes for breakfast! Yum!! Then it was a kickback morning. Ryan and John headed for the flight line on their bikes and did a full round - 6 miles!! Then a little more basketball, a trip to the commissary and some laundry. Beans and potato salad were made in the afternoon and about 4, we headed to Jennifer and Will Cotten's house for dinner. Will is the CO of Dave's company. Dave will replace him at a Change of command Ceremony in May.
Sumiko and Kenji joined us for dinner. They are locals who have befriended the "Dambusters" for many years. Sumiko occasionally does cooking classes with the Squadron wives...she's an incredible cook! Jennifer Cotten, our hostess, is on the left.
Jill and Dave with Will Cotten. It was a chilly evening but they had a gas warmer that kept us all toasty! The hatbox contains extraordinary donuts Sumiko brought!
Back for seconds!! The steak was to die for as well as the chicken and the great sides Dave & Jill made! Coconut cake with berries for dessert....superb!
We had a delightful time just chatting about travels etc. We headed home about 7 or so to get the boys into bed...school tomorrow!! A very fun evening. Thanks Jennifer and Will!!
