Yoho National Park

Up to 0C this morning and it dropped to -1C as we headed into Lake Louise for breakfast at Laggan's.  Best Hot Chocolate in Canada!  It was very welcome this morning :-)!  We're heading back to Yoho National Park to show Gretchen the highlights.  It's full sunshine and no clouds this morning, unlike other mornings we've spent in Yoho!
First stop is Natural Bridge (see 8/28 for our pictures).
Gretchen trying to get just the right shot!
After a good stop we headed for Spiral Tunnels but no trains yet...actually there were repair cars on the tracks.  Will check back later--on to Emerald Lake.
It was beautiful from the Lodge.

And the Lodge grounds beautiful too!
We wondered through the Lodge area as the light was perfect on the Lake.  Did inquire about prices—for the current season they run from $250-1200, but they vary significantly so check the website.  It really is a delightful place.  They wandered the lake for a short distance on the other side.  Visited the gift shop at the boathouse and found a hat for me.  Then on to the Falls.

The light wasn't quite on the water yet so we had lunch and then took the walk to the falls and it was spectacular!
Spent a couple of hours there
This is actually 3 pictures put
together to make the whole falls.

and then headed back, with a stop at the Spiral Tunnels.  A train was just coming under the bridge when we turned into the lot so we got to see the full affect of all three sections of train at once.
Then back to the campground, showers, dinner and a fire tonight—got to have those somores! Grand Day and last night in the tent and should be warmer as it’s 20C now!
