Another of those catch-up days we seem to need. Laundry first then I headed to the library to
do some more blog and John did a little shopping for a few things. Actually got a fair amount done on the
blog. Then we headed to Calgary and the airport.
It's harvest time for the wheat in Alberta. There are thousands and thousands of hectares of wheat!
In Calgary we did a resupply stop at Costco and then Walmart – both
fairly close together – and then to the airport to pick up GRETCHEN!! She arrived on time with all luggage
accounted for and we headed back to the mountains.
These elk were on the side of the road to welcome her as we neared the road into the Campground. There was still some light to set up her tent
and we basically brushed teeth and headed to bed. It had been a long day for her. Really glad she’s here!
