Williamsburg

Up and out early on our way to Williamsburg.  It was about a 5 hour drive down there and we headed to the Visitor's Center when we arrived in Williamsburg.  We got our tickets--gotta love that our one day ticket actually is allows us in anytime and as many times as we choose through Dec. 31st!  Again, sometimes it's nice to be old when they run special like that.  We had lunch and then started wandering.
Bruton Parish Church - there was a service going on.
 The Palace...

Looks like quite a Sunday Feast!
Palace Kitchen Garden

 Carriage ride anyone...
 We'd love to chat.
Catching up on the local news
 The Armory
The Marquis de Lafayette arriving to review the troops.
Drummers and fifers ready for inspection.
 Demonstration.
A Lot of Smoke!

It's mighty chilly here and we need to go check into the Patriots' Place.  We have a time share so room to spread out and enjoy some heat!  After bringing in the luggage we headed out for dinner and then came back and hit the hay.  Long but enjoyable day!
