Up and out early this morning for our meeting in DC with LeeAnne! She's retired and is doing an East Coast catch up with friends to celebrate. Can hardly wait!!
She's doing her tour by Amtrack and is coming in today from Philly.

We put everything in the car and then took a wander around the area and got our Sr. tickets for the Metro. Sometimes it's nice to be old :-). The Metro is just fun and so easy. Got a good view of the White House before we headed to Becky's house. Becky is LeeAnne's cousin and she's graciously invited us to stay with her while we're here. We drove to her house in Silver Springs in an older section of town...wonderful old neighborhood. We had a delicious stir-fry for dinner and took a walk around the neighborhood before settling in.
