We managed to keep the boys pretty quiet until around 9:00 when the ball goers rolled out. We decided to make it a work/family day around here as they are having a crowd over on Friday night. Dave and Grandpa worked outside and Jill and Grandma worked on laundry, laundry and more laundry and finished picking up.
Then after lunch we headed out to the Jumping Mushrooms and the huge park at the end of the flight line.
After some great jumping we wandered along one of the stone paths and there were some beautiful trees in blossom as well as beds of flowers.
It's a gorgeous park with soccer and baseball fields and an area under construction that is going to be a great playground area with a zipline etc.
Stopped and got a snack from the ever present vending machine and as it was raining and the park was closing, we headed to do a little shopping. We went to a Lowe's/Walmart type store to find some paint to repaint the sign in the front yard.
The parking lots for most stores are above the actual store and you go down an escalator into the store and if you have a cart you take the elevator back up to your parking level. It was a little challenging finding the paint we wanted with all the labels in Japanese. We finally did see a sign water-based paint so went from there.
Then to the garden section and found these asparagus plants as well as others.
Jill got a couple of indoor plants but didn't find quite what she wanted for the front garden. Then we headed to the pets section to see what was there and found lots of cute small dogs and kittens. We decided it was time for Sally the fish to have some companions. Found some great small goldfish and brought home three.
