We had a quiet Sunday morning....some sleeping in since we didn't get home until 1:30am. That's late for us old folks!! But things picked up in the afternoon. Dave dropped off Annie and a friend and we took them to their YOSA (Youth Orchestra of San Antonio) practice at the practice room at UTSA (University of Texas at San Antonio). We were only able to stay for one song but it was fascinating. These are the select kids from the Greater San Antonio area. They have to apply, audition then go to two camps and then they practice every weekend. Unfortunately, we will miss their concert a couple of weeks after we leave. What talent!! The Director was great with the kids...got his point across but in a very kind and joking manner. Annie is the one in the center picture in the tan sweater...she plays the violin. We left them there to be picked up by Dave and we headed home to get ready for the block happy hour. Very fun evening.
