Boy, we did get a rainstorm this morning....great puddles for splashing! Ryan and Grandma both had a wonderful time playing in the water! Jill, Jean and John dropped Ryan off at school and then looked for a kitchen table....went to quite a number of places but found something different at Haverty's and she bought it. Very functional for Japan! No picture though. We stopped for lunch at Five Guys - our first time there. They are popping up all over around here and the burgers were delicious--and the fries endless and great! Success! Ryan was home when we got back--Dave had picked him up....
Good buddies...need something to do!

Dave's day wasn't wasted...he finished painting the kitchen.
Colin had a great paper mache project for school to do....
He had to make an instrument. There is a shaker inside the box so you can shake while you strum the strings. very cleaver. Ryan made a great shaker also.
They tried to make a trap for the bug (upper green), but he got out every time. Fun!
Then finally, after much requesting from Ryan, Colin opened the Lego Castle box and began putting it together. He's gotten very good at putting those together!!!
and ryan got to put the King together with all his armor, sword, shield etc.
and Dad couldn't stay away once he got the paint cleaned up. They made great progress on it! We had a very good dinner and a little homework and then the day was over. We head out in the morning...a very short visit, but very fun!
