Welcome Back to the Mainland!!!

Dave, Grandma and Grandpa headed to the airport in two separate cars to pick up our arriving travelers and all their gear! There were huge hugs for Daddy when they saw him at the end of the concourse! The boys didn't know they were going to DisneyWorld so it was quite a surprise when Dave pulled out their mouse ears!

Then one more surprise when Grandma and Grandpa appeared to share the adventure with them! Lots of excitement all around!!
We all headed down the baggage and collected the car seats, the box and the 5 suitcases and headed for the cars and then on to the Sheraton Fountains Resort. After carrying everything up to the 3rd floor we settled in a little and the boys all had a short nap. Meanwhile Jill headed to the Spa for a wonderful couple of hours of refreshing relaxation and massage!

When Mom came back we all headed to Downtown Disney and the beginning of our Adventure...we headed to Lego Imagination Center first, of course. They have wonderful bigger than life lego characters all around and inside the building.
and a huge area where you can just play with Legos.
After a wander through the Lego store and lots of ohhh we headed down to the T-Rex Cafe to have some dinner. There was a short wait and the boys played in the dig area.
Then we did a wander through the gift shop which had a rainforest theme...
Then into dinner amid all the moving dinosaurs. It was very cool.
They had a meteor shower every 20 minutes when the lights would go dim and the creatures would all come to life with their roars and movements. There were meteors sailing through the sky also. Ryan got a little closer to Dad each time it happened--it was pretty life-like! We topped dinner off with the Chocolate Extinction....a volcano extradinare!
YUM!!!

Then back out to wander the street. We walked by musicians, a ton of stores, folks making candy apples and chocolate pretzels and then came upon this wonderful statue...a live model and he was great!!
Then we wandered by the Ridemakerz store and Mom walked in to check it out and we all headed in to create some GREAT custom made radio controlled Lightening McQueen racecars! The boys picked out the car frame they wanted and then added tires, accessories, engine, etc and proceeded to help assemble it.

They both did a test run to make sure everything worked and then the cars were packed up and we headed for the cars and home. We had three very tired puppies after their long trip from Hawaii and a pretty full adventure at Downtown Disney. But, before they could go to bed, they needed to do a test run of the cars, so they headed down to the parking lot and all went well. Then on to a good nights sleep and dreams of tomorrow's adventures! It was a GRAND day!!!!
