The Magic Kingdom

A good night's sleep by all and we were raring to go to THE MAGIC KINGDOM!!

It was a beautiful day as we drove under the Walt Disney World arch!and on to the Magic Kingdom entrance!

We parked and hopped onto the tram and then onto the Ferry to take us across the Lagoon.

then through the ticket booth and bag check and we were in!!!
The timing was perfect to catch the trolley to take us down Main Street.
We were seranaded by a fun Barber Shop Quartet.
Great to see this family together again!

Dave ran on ahead to get some fastpass tickets for Fantasyland. Let me say right now, he's the man to do the planning! The whole adventure went off without a hitch with all his fastpass runs and pre-planning for rides! Three cheers to Dave!!! THANK YOU!!

We headed to Fantasyland to start our day.
Past the Castle and on to Dumbo....where the line was really long, so we decided to head to Mickey's PhilharMagic which was a wonderful 30 minute 3D movie.
Great start and the first of many lines we waited in....
then onto It's a Small World and it's wander through all the countries...

then to Prince Charming's Regal Carrousel...

By the time we got off the Carrousel the line for Dumbo was a little shorter so we waited for our turn...
Definitely worth the wait!
Then it was time for some Pooh adventures, but when we got there
it was closed for a repair so it was decided to go....
back to the Carrousel...

which we all thoroughly enjoyed!

and then the teacups to end our Fantasyland Adventure.
Jill, Grandma and Grandpa sat that one out!!

We headed to Tomorrowland and borrowed a table at one of the restaurants and had a quick lunch that we had packed. That re-energized everyone so we were off for our afternoon.

Fastpass time for the Speedway!
Great times for both cars.

Then a quick walk back to Pooh's Adventures that was open and no line :-)

A return to Tomorrowland and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin - a very fun ride
Dave was by far the winner of this Intergalactic adventure! That's one intense guy!

Colin landed in with this alien....hope we can get him out!
On to Space Mountain and some really serious rides!

Headed for Monster's Inc to cool off a little and then through the PeopleMover and then off to Adventureland!

Ran into Stitch along the way!

Started Adventureland with a nice shady walk through the Swiss Family Treehouse...

did a sail through the Pirates of the Carribbean...
then hopped on board the safari boat for a Jungle Cruise.

When we got off that, we headed for the Dole Aloha Isle for some Pineapple Ice Cream to cool off and re-energize. It's been a long day and more to go!

Off to Frontierland where we started with a quick run on Thunder Mountain--great ride!
Ryan really enjoyed that one!

Then a raft ride over to Tom Sawyer Island and some adventuring over there...
Running the barrel bridges was the highlight here!

After we wandered Tom's Island we headed back on the raft and then made a visit to the Country Bear Jamboree. Then headed to Pecos Bill's for dinner. It was nice to sit down and catch our breath!

After dinner we moved toward the Liberty Square area and caught the last ride on the Riverboat. It was a pleasant ride around the island and just in time for the sunset.

When we arrived back we headed toward the parade area for the Electric Light Parade.
The Palace was lovely.

Ryan was fading some, but Colin was full of energy as he did his Hula Hoop routine on the street as we waited for the parade.

He really can make that hoop swing! Colin and Grandma sat down on the curb not too long after this and waited for the parade. Ryan was already asleep in Dave's arms and as the parade came into view, Colin hit the wall and was gone! But, the adults really enjoyed the parade!
Another Outstanding Day!
