Ryan took on a new task of loading the dishes in the dishwasher to earn more marbles for his jar...it's almost full and when it is he gets to make a trip to the 100 yen store and pick something out! Actually he had a great time...it was more like playing in the water than doing the dishes...guess it all perspective.
And before we knew it we were heading down the steps to the bus stop for the shuttle to the airport. It was a foggy and wet day. It was an interesting drive to Narita....lots of rice paddies along the way.
Made the flight--got Business Class :-) We're upstairs in a 747.
That's our plane reflected in the window.
Farewell Japan for this time...we'll be back!
Yummy dinner...this was the appetizer. The seats laid back almost all the way, but still not a decent night's sleep...actually we left at 3 in the afternoon so flew back through a night and arrived in Detroit not long after we left according to the clock (crossed the International Date Line). There will be some serious jet lag issues after this trip I think with our 13 hour time change!
Lake Michigan...we're almost to Detroit. All went well through customs and we made our flight to RDU - no Business class this time. Got to RDU with our luggage and headed home...two pretty weary campers...25 hours door to door...not bad! It was a glorious adventure with wonderful people! Thank you all for the great time!!
